Tunnel to Towers – 25th September 2011

Join us in New York for this event in memory of the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York Fire Fighter, and all the 9/11 victims. The 2011 event will be the 10th anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11.

 

Following the route of Stephen, this 5km run / walk traces the path he took on that fateful day. Over 20,000 participants take part in this event and the 2011 event is expected to be even bigger with thousands of people showing their respect for brave fire fighters who risk their lives to save others.

 

We are taking a team of UK Fire Fighters to New York for this event and would love for you to join us!

 

Option 1: Let us do the hard work!

We’ll make it a hassle-free trip by making all the arrangements for you, so you can sit back and relax! You can secure your place with an early-bird registration fee of just £250* and by pledging to raise £1,500* for The Fire Fighters Charity. This will include:

  • Your return flight to New York from London, airport transfers and taxes
  • 3 nights accommodation
  • Race entrance
  • Charity t-shirt
  • Support from our dedicated challenge events team throughout your whole experience
  • Fundraising pack, full of useful tips and ideas
  • Support and guidance from your Regional Fundraiser on fundraising ideas and resource materials
  • Training guidance
  • Option to stay an additional night in New York for just £100 extra

 

Option 2: DIY It!

Alternatively, you can organise the trip yourself. For a £100* registration fee, and commitment to raise £700* in sponsorship we will secure your race entry and give you a Charity t-shirt but you’ll need to organise your flights, accommodation and transfers yourself.
