The Fire Fighters Charity Beneficiary

The Fire Fighters Charity exists to provide services which enhance quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families, during times of need.  The charity assist approximately 13,000 beneficiaries a year from the fire services community, and actively promote their services to as wider audience as possible, in order to help record numbers of people year on year.

You are part of The Fire Fighters Charity's beneficiary base if you are:

  • Under a contract of employment with a Fire Brigade serving under a Chief Fire Officer or Firemaster
  • Served as a firefighter or as a non-uniformed employee of a Fire Brigade for at least 5 years or retired because of illness or injury
  • A works firefighter who meets the criteria determined by the Trustees
  • An employee of The Fire Fighters Charity
  • A former employee of The Fire Fighters Charity with at least 5 years service or retired on the grounds of illness or injury
  • A dependant of any person who falls into the above categories

Please note that the offer of therapy or recuperation is based on a need basis and that other terms and conditions may apply.
