Local fire fighters got more than they bargained for when they got facials to go with their clothes makeovers! There was a most kissable lips competition and a raffle. USA Coast-to-Coast Charity Bike Ride
In May 2010, 4 fire fighters from Warrington are planning a charity bike ride across America in 49 days. The aim is to raise as much money for The Fire Fighters Charity as possible. The start of the 3586 mile journey is in Astoria USA and the aim is to finish in New York on the 16th July 2010. The team will be totally self sufficient and will be carrying all their own gear with no support vehicle - using only pedal power! We are staying at fire stations all across America on our route.
The team would be very grateful for any support you are able to give - no matter how big or small - to help them reach their target of raising £30,000 for The Fire Fighters Charity. "We have seen first hand how fires and car collisions can tear peoples lives and families apart, and really believe that any money raised will help people who through no fault of their own, are unable to help themselves"
