The Virgin London Marathon is one of the biggest running events in the world. It has been held each spring in London since 1981 and in addition to being one of the top six international marathons is a large, celebratory sporting festival, with over thirty thousand participants.
What could be a more fitting challenge than to run this incredible course through the heart of London, taking in impressive city sights such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and the Docklands, not to mention the energy from the hundreds of thousands of supporters who line the streets of London to cheer you on?
What are you waiting for? Come and join our team and run the London Marathon for The Fire Fighters Charity!

Stuck for ideas on how to fundraise? Firstly, it’s wise to break your fundraising target down into manageable chunks. Plan local events such as pub quizzes, car boot sales or company cake days and be sure to create your own personal web page on Virgin Money Giving or Just Giving. Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter can also help generate awareness.
