Our chance to say thank you

We invite you to join us for a night of celebration on Wednesday 4 November as our 2020 Spirit of Fire Awards go virtual. Marking the incredible achievements of our beneficiaries and supporters, we’ve taken Spirit of Fire online this year and joined forces with a host of well-known faces to announce the nominees and winners across 12 deserving categories.

Featuring Charity highlight films – shot before the pandemic – and with some household names revealing our nominees and winners, you can watch the whole show online, as a YouTube Premiere event on our YouTube Channel, from 7pm on Wednesday 4 November. With employees, volunteers, nominees, beneficiaries, supporters and members of the public all watching together from 7pm, we’d love as many of you as possible to get involved in the broadcast. You can join in the live chat on YouTube and share your reactions and congratulations on social media with the hashtag #WithYouInSpirit.

The award is open to any team with two or more members, that works within or represents any element of the fire services community.

Awarded to the UK fire and rescue service that has contributed the most in regards to its dedication and support of The Fire Fighters Charity during our nomination period The Service’s contribution does not, however, have to be solely monetary or related to its fundraising performance as the judging panel will take into account factors such as how a service’s support may have changed or evolved over the period, as well as different contributions made by teams within each service. The size or location of a service is also not taken into account.
