Today, there are a number of ways in which companies can fundraise for, work alongside or benefit from partnering with the Charity. Here are just a few.
Fundraise for us
You could hold a bake sale in your office; set up a collection tin on your reception desk; enter a team of colleagues in a sporting event or hold a dress down day in aid of the Charity. Lots of organisations – many of whom have required the help of the fire and rescue service in the past – support the Charity today, raising thousands of pounds by undertaking a broad range of challenges and fundraising events.
Advertise with us
The Charity’s flagship publication, Shout!, is published twice a year and sent direct to 30,000 readers. Featuring news, features, health and wellbeing advice, competitions and much more, we welcome advertisers or sponsors who would like to reach our audience with their own messages. Advertising opportunities are also available for the Charity’s email newsletters, which regularly reach tens of thousands of readers. All money from advertising directly supports the work of The Fire Fighters Charity.
Be a sponsor
Like the look of one of our events? Or is there a natural synergy between your company and one of our campaigns? Well, why not sponsor it?
Each year The Fire Fighters Charity organises a number of events and fundraising campaigns or initiatives that can be sponsored or supported by third party companies or organisations. We can ensure your company features prominently on all our marketing and promotional materials and we can work with you to ensure that your products or services form an integral part of the event or campaign.
Whatever the size or wherever the location of your business, we can provide sponsorship opportunities for you at a local, regional or national level, helping you to cement your business’s reputation as a charitable member of your community, whatever its size.
Be an affiliate partner
If your company offers a service or sells products that you feel would be of interest to our beneficiaries, donors and supporters, we’d be happy to look into affiliate partnership options with you. We could, for example, help to promote your discount schemes or special offers in return for an advertising commitment in Shout! magazine. Add us to your payroll giving scheme
If your company operates a payroll giving scheme in which your employees can donate to a nominated charity through their payroll, we would love you to consider adding The Fire Fighters Charity to the list of charities to which they can choose to donate.
