London Marathon – Application Form

The Charity may contact you to discuss your application before a final decision is made.

If successful you will be required to pay a £100.00 registration fee (non-refundable) to secure the place and fundraise a further £1,900.00 (excluding gift aid) of which we require 80%, £1520.00, to be raised three months prior to the event.

Successful applicants will be invited to a Fundraising and Training Meeting. We will ask you to come to the meeting with your prepared plan of how you intend to reach your fundraising target.

The meeting will include guest speaker presentations covering: Help and advice on fundraising and how you can reach the fundraising target, using social media, training and preparation for the London Marathon. You will also receive your running vest and fundraising pack, as well as any other materials you will need to help you achieve your fundraising target.

If you are unable to attend this meeting in person, we would ask for you to be available to join the meeting by conference call.

If you have also applied through the General Ballot and are given a place, the Charity place will be withdrawn, however we would still love you to be part of The Fire Fighters Charity team so please contact us as soon as you are notified to discuss how we can support you.
