Planning
Plan what you’re going to do – does it challenge you, is it a little out of the ordinary, is it practical and achievable?
Shout about what your doing to friends, family, colleagues and on social media. Not only does this build great awareness for your challenge but it will keep you motivated and help to boost your fundraising.
As you begin to plan your challenge or event take a look through the Charity’s event toolkit for more ideas, tools and tips.
Preparation
If you are taking on a new physical challenge speak to a qualified professional before and during your training to make sure you stay fit and healthy throughout.
Does your challenge require insurance? Find out more here.
Fancy donning a Charity top or vest when you take on your challenge? Contact central events for more information.
Sponsorship
Sponsorship is a great way of raising funds – tell friends, family, neighbours and colleagues what you are doing, and that you are raising money to help injured fire fighters, and simply ask if they’ll sponsor you
