Colin’s story
Heather Rowe chose to remember us in her will after learning of the support we offer through her close friend and retired firefighter, Colin. Here, he shares his memories of her and the legacy she leaves behind.
Everyone needs support sometimes. Hear from some of the people Fire Fighters Charity has helped to move forward with positive change, personal achievement, progress and transformation in their health and wellbeing.
Heather Rowe chose to remember us in her will after learning of the support we offer through her close friend and retired firefighter, Colin. Here, he shares his memories of her and the legacy she leaves behind. We were proud to unveil a plaque at Jubilee House, our centre in Cumbria, recently – dedicated to former firefighter and committed supporter, Graham Gash. His legacy is already helping the fire services community live well and feel valued. Sue Park has shared some of her memories of her beloved Uncle Pete and Aunt Betty, both of whom enjoyed long careers in the fire service and supported us throughout.
