Everyone needs support sometimes. Hear from some of the people Fire Fighters Charity has helped to move forward with positive change, personal achievement, progress and transformation in their health and wellbeing.

Colin’s story

Heather Rowe chose to remember us in her will after learning of the support we offer through her close friend and retired firefighter, Colin. Here, he shares his memories of her and the legacy she leaves behind.

Phil’s story

Firefighter Phil Cook won £10,000 on our Lottery Superdraw after years of taking part- his way of contributing to the work we do, after seeing the difference it makes first-hand.

Lauren’s story

Through some incredible fundraising efforts, Lauren Turner has already raised thousands of pounds to support fire service personnel – just like her husband, Ross – across the UK.

Tash’s story

Tash Campbell-Bell, who works in the protection team at Royal Berkshire FRS, turned to us during one of the most challenging periods of her life and says our support was “life-changing”.

We were proud to unveil a plaque at Jubilee House, our centre in Cumbria, recently – dedicated to former firefighter and committed supporter, Graham Gash. His legacy is already helping the fire services community live well and feel valued.
