29 AUG – 2 SEPT 2018
Iceland is a land of incredible contrast and beauty. Its wild volcanic landscapes, mountains, glaciers, hot springs, geysers and waterfalls, combined with its rich history, literature and folklore make it a fascinating country to explore.
This fascinating and highly diverse short trek takes you up to a high pass between two majestic glaciers, taking in the new lava from the 2010 eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. Then finish at the beautiful waterfall of Skógarfoss before returning to Reykjavik, where you will have some time to explore or visit the famous Blue Lagoon thermal spa.

Stuck for ideas on how to fundraise? Firstly, it’s wise to break your fundraising target down into manageable chunks. Plan local events such as pub quizzes, car boot sales or company cake days and be sure to create your own personal web page on Virgin Money Giving or Just Giving. Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter can also help generate awareness.
