Firefighters Adam Ford, Matthew Chenery and Dean Hunt all from Hertfordshire are planning a 100 mile walk to raise funds for our Charity.

The Duo, who will start their journey in their home town of Bishops Stortford and then finish off around 24 hours later at our Marine Court rehabilitation centre in Littlehampton, West Sussex, have been planning their route –  a single continuous effort with no overnight break – meticulously.

Adam, who spent time at Marine Court last year said; “We will have strategic volunteer support at predesignated check-points along the route on the day (and night) and all sections of the route will be recce-ed by us prior to the event.

“Covering 100 miles in around 24 hours along towpaths, main roads, over rivers, Box Hill, the South Downs and through the night, we will be in pieces by the end.”

They will also aim to complete around 3000 miles of training between them before the big event this summer.
