Twelve-year-old Andrew, from Portsmouth, has completed a 133-mile cycle ride from Portsmouth to London, visiting 29 fire stations along the way.

Andrew, who has autism, started his original fundraising adventure in 2015 when he visited 390 UK fire stations or fire–related places.

He was also this year made an honorary member of the New York Fire Department after visiting 51 stations in the US and was also honoured with a Diana Award in recognition of his fundraising efforts for us.

Day two of Andrew’s cycle route took him through our Basingstoke headquarters where we were all on hand to give him a warm welcome and cheerful send off.

Everyone at The Fire Fighters Charity would like to say a huge well done and even bigger thank you to Andrew for his extraordinary efforts in helping our heroes in need. He should be very proud, we certainly are!

You can donate via Andrew’s JustGiving page here.
