The match raised a huge £26,000, to be split between us and two other charities, in memory of Norfolk on-call firefighter Carl Mills.
The match raised a huge £26,000, to be split between us and two other charities, in memory of Norfolk on-call firefighter Carl Mills. Representatives from FRSs across the UK came together in Norfolk for the annual golfing event - raising their highest amount yet. A local confectionery company, which has links to the fire service through one of its employees who is an on-call firefighter, fundraised throughout 2022 in support of us. Former firefighting helmets were turned into stunning art and put on display as part of a charity fundraising drive by Norfolk FRS. Former firefighters Chris Bilby and Ashley Theakstone are set to climb Malaysia’s highest mountain, Mount Kinabalu to raise funds for our Charity.
