The Fire Fighters Charity have teamed up with Rat Race to bring you Man vs Lake, you will  start from the quick sands of Morecambe Bay, before plunging north through mountainous countryside on a rollercoaster running route that brings you to the foot of England’s most famous Lake – Windermere.

Tackle short wades, swims, slides, jumps and a floating assault course. A trademark Man Vs “Vertical Kilometre” will push those quads to breaking point, helping to rack up a whopping 3000ft of ascent before a “Swallows and Amazons” rope swing suspended from a crane chucking you into the drink.  Finally you will hurtle across the finish line on the giant water slide.

How do I get involved?

To participate in this amazing challenge that will test you to the limit and is no small undertaking,  however once you have negotiated one of the most famous Lakes on earth you will have achieved something truly remarkable.
