• Do you help to care for someone in your life?
  • Do you balance caring responsibilities with a job?
  • Are you a full or part-time carer for someone you know?
  • Do you help someone you know with basic, everyday tasks?

If the answer to any of these is yes, you could join us for a week’s stay at Jubilee House, our centre in Cumbria, for a break away with like-minded others.

Our residential week, which we’re holding from Monday 6 to Friday 10 June, will be running in line with this year’s Carers Week, which is centred on the theme: ‘Make caring visible, valued and supported’.

It will include a series of workshops, activities and time with our expert team, with help offered to you depending on your individual needs.

Perhaps you’re struggling with your own physical mobility? Or you’ve been finding things more difficult and need a bit of support with your mental wellbeing? Or do you wish to find out more about welfare support you could access? We’ll aim to help you with any challenges you may be facing.

Workshops throughout the week will cover everything from self-care to coping strategies and welfare support, ensuring you go away with new tools to help you in your everyday life.

However, most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and spend time with other carers, enjoying a well-deserved break in a beautiful location.

If you’re unable to attend the centre in person, we’ll also be holding daily online video calls no matter where you’re based – aimed at both working and non-working age carers – including educational sessions or just the chance to enjoy a cup of tea together and a chat.

If you’d like to join one or several of those – all of which will last for around one hour – you can register for the calls below and you’ll be emailed details on how to join:
