We’ve launched a new self-assessment tool to help you better understand your mental wellbeing and determine the best support for you.

The tool, developed in partnership with Rightsteps, aims to help anyone experiencing feelings of anxiety or low mood and to decide whether you’d benefit from further support and information.

Once you finish, you’ll see your results along with some personalised advice and links to useful information, to help you take further action on your health and wellbeing, if you decide to do so.

Please note: this assessment is not intended to replace a consultation with a GP or a mental health care professional. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself or others, you should consider calling NHS Direct on 111 or your GP to make an urgent appointment. If you feel you are unable to keep yourself or others safe then you should attend A&E or dial 999.

You can also call our 24/7 Crisis Line, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering immediate and ongoing suicide and mental health crisis care for past and present UK fire services personnel. Call: 0300 373 0896.
