It’s been a jam-packed month of fundraising highlights this February, with everything from ultra-marathons being planned to Brew With A Crews, rows, litter picks and more.

We announced our Bag It and Bank It results, with fire stations and communities bringing in a grand total of £96,394, while also celebrating kind-hearted donations from companies and small businesses across the UK.

Putting a spin on traditional fundraising activities, local resident, Heather, is raising money for us with a Lent Litter Pick near Fairford Fire Station in Gloucester. Meanwhile, Geddington Volunteer Fire Brigade donated £1,000 following their Boxing Day Squirt event, which saw them take on Kettering in a very close battle to the finish.

Below are just a few more highlights, as well as quotes from regular donors…

And don’t forget, you can share your amazing fundraising achievements, encourage others and share ideas on MyFFC. We have a series of dedicated groups you can join. Just register now and head to the ‘Groups’ tab at the top of the MyFFC homepage.
