A key aim for our new social media, wellbeing and fundraising app, My Fire Fighters Charity, is to ensure we provide every member of our fire services community with quick access to helpful resources, when they need them most. To this end, our ever-growing, exclusive library of content lies at the heart of MyFFC.

We have packed the app full of articles, never-before-seen videos and images for you to browse, whether you’re wanting advice on anything from a health concern to transitioning to retirement or holding the ultimate fundraising event, we guarantee you’ll find something of interest and relevance to you.

We’ve also created some handy guides and downloadable resources for your fundraising activities, as well as exclusive videos with our regional fundraisers so you can get to know them better.

We know the fire services community, so understand the demands you face throughout your life, whatever your role. Therefore, the specialist advice and information you read or watch on MyFFC is tailored directly to you and your needs – and is written by our hugely experienced practitioners and fundraising teams.

All you need to do is register for the app and get set up – details on how to do that can be found here. Then, head to the ‘Library’ tab at the top (see it marked on the image below) and click on ‘Health and Wellbeing’ or ‘Fundraising’, depending which articles you’d like to browse.

You’ll then immediately see a series of topics under each story icon, which you can also click on to find other articles linked to the same topic you’re wanting to find out about.

You can choose to ‘follow’ any topic that you wish and whenever we post a new article or item of content relating to that topic, it will appear in your homepage feed, without you needing to look for it!

Finally, what really sets MyFFC apart is the opportunity to join a discussion with others on the app. Simply click on the ‘Discussion’ tab at the top of the library page that you’re on (whether that’s Health and Wellbeing or Fundraising), or find a more specific Discussion field on each of the different topic pages. Then you can go ahead and share your experiences, queries and more with others.
