Here are some of the highlights from week six:

Our Wellness and Behaviour Change Coach, Sally Walker, shared some tips to help you cope if your surgery is suddenly delayed. From relaxation techniques to hobby ideas and expert advice, you can find it all here.

Our Health Improvement Lead, Dr Greg Lessons, also revealed how a few simple changes to your diet could improve the health of your joints. You can find his simple guide to changing your diet here:

And Greg also shared the latest in his series of recipes and cook-along videos, this time for sea bass curry. Check it out here:

Finally, we shared Gillian Bonar’s story.

Gillian, whose husband is a crew commander with Scottish FRS, stayed at Jubilee House recently following a fall which left her with a major knee injury. She says it not only helped her regain some mobility, but also increased her confidence.

“The staff here are really good at building your confidence and keeping your spirits up, as well as the group I’m with this week,” says Gillian. “Everyone encourages each other and we have a laugh as well.”

We shared a video of Gillian being interviewed in the Share Your Story group in MyFFC.

Keep an eye on our Healthy Joints Hub on the website too, where you’ll find all the links to the content in MyFFC:
