No challenge has been too big for our wonderful supporters this month, with some incredible outdoor events to kick summer off.

Thank you to everyone who’s organised or taken part in an event or challenge in aid of us – you’re making such a difference.

Cumbria Watch Manager, Craig Hall, climbed to Everest Base Camp in aid of us, raising over Β£2,000 in the process.

And NFCC colleagues raised almost Β£1,500 by taking on the Brecon Beacons Three Peaks – even going on to climb two more afterwards – while several Control Rooms held dress-down days across the country, all in aid of us.

Elsewhere, a firefighter from Torquay, Rob Wolstanholme, went the extra mile (quite literally) this month and walked 82km non-stop for 23 hours in full fire kit and BA set around the Isle of Wight – raising an incredible Β£3,177. Crews on the island came out in force to cheer him on around the 51km mark.

Below are just a few more of the highlights, as well as quotes from our donors…

And don’t forget, you can share your amazing fundraising achievements, encourage others and share ideas on My Fire Fighters Charity. We have a series of dedicated groups you can join. Just register now and head to the β€˜Groups’ tab at the top of the My Fire Fighters Charity homepage.
