One-to-one psychological care
We can offer a number of one-to-one counselling sessions with our experienced psychological therapists, either online or by telephone.
Group-based therapy
Our Reset Programme offers group-based therapy, while other targeted residential programmes focus on specific physical and mental wellbeing needs.
Mental health self-assessment tool
Our mental health self-assessment tool is a great way to understand your feelings and decide whether you’d like to explore how we can help in other ways.
Residential breaks
Rest and Recharge stays at each of our centres are available for those who need a chance to pause, ground themselves, replenish and reset.
Crisis Line
Our Crisis Line is open 24 hours a day, every day for those who are serving or have retired from the UK fire service who may be struggling with suicidal thoughts.
Peer and community-led mental health support
While formal clinical services have their place, we recognise the importance of social support, belonging and trusted relationships as being helpful to mental wellbeing. Our Living Well Groups, which meet in communities across the UK, provide opportunities to come together for a cuppa and a chat with others who understand what it is like to be serving and retired from the UK fire service.
Telephone befriending
We offer volunteer-led befriending calls to individuals who have retired from service.
Bereavement
Grief can be overwhelming. Our support, guidance and resources can help manage bereavement, whatever stage you’re at in your journey with it.
