How it works

Step 1: Fill in an online questionnaire

You answer questions about:

  • Who do you want to inherit
  • Your wishes
  • Any instructions for your estate

The service creates a draft Will from your answers.

Step 2: Speak to a legal professional (about 30 minutes)

A lawyer reviews your draft and talks through your situation. This can usually happen:

  • By phone
  • Video call
  • Sometimes in person, depending on the provider.

Step 3: Sign and witness it

You receive the completed Will, sign it correctly with witnesses, and the legal firm helps make sure it is valid and stored safely.

 

Important things to know

You do not have to leave money to Fire Fighters Charity to use the service. They invite you to consider it, but it isn’t required.

A standard/simple Will is free.

If your situation is more complex (for example, trusts, complicated family arrangements, tax planning, overseas assets, or anything else), they may explain extra legal work and give you a quote before proceeding.

The purpose is to help people make a Will more easily while giving them the option to support the charity in future.
