Etape Loch Ness Cycle

We're thrilled to announce a brand new challenge for 2027. For the first time, we're putting together a charity team for Etape Loch Ness, the UK's largest closed-road cycle sportive, and we'd love you to be part of it.

On Sunday 25 April 2027, thousands of riders will take on a 66-mile (106km) loop around Loch Ness, starting and finishing in Inverness. The roads are fully closed, and the route takes in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Highlands. It also includes the famous 4.8-mile climb from Glendoe, which comes with its own King and Queen of the Mountain timing if you fancy testing your legs.

The UK’s largest and most iconic closed road cycle sportive

For 2027, we have 10 charity places available. Registration is £40 (including VAT) and we ask each rider to raise a minimum of £400, with 80% raised by 26 February 2027.

If you'd like to ride for us, support people across the fire services community, and be part of our very first Loch Ness team, we'd love to hear from you.
