Lisa Langley was finally pain free and eager to move forward with a new found confidence after two weeks at Marine Court. Firefighters and staff at Cambridge Fire Station believe successful charity fundraising is all about teamwork. Matt House, the station’s Charity Rep, has led the station’s charity efforts for the past four years and has been involved with fundraising for The Fire Fighters Charity since he joined in 2007. Following an accident on operational service, Suffolk firefighter Rick Clarke, who serves at Newmarket Fire Station, attended the Charity’s Harcombe House centre in Devon for two weeks. Daredevil Fire Commander Richard Dykes took the plunge and did a 13,500ft freefall skydive to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity in August 2013.
