West Yorkshire firefighter, Sam Bland, shares how our programme at Jubilee House helped her come to terms with the challenges she’d been facing with Long Covid. Heather Dunne, who works in Fire Control, has received support on our Reset Programme, through Rest and Recharge stays at Harcombe House and on our online Hope Programme. West Yorkshire on-call firefighter, Stewart Warman, received physical health support when a major knee injury meant months off work – all of which impacted his mental wellbeing. Hampshire and Isle of Wight firefighter, Sophie Hodgson – who was previously crowned Mrs Wales - received support following a back injury and says the mental wellbeing benefits along the way helped with her return to the job she loves. Retired firefighter David Marshall shares how we’ve supported him three times since he retired – and why he’d encourage all former personnel to continue donating after they leave the fire service.
