Tash Campbell-Bell, who works in the protection team at Royal Berkshire FRS, turned to us during one of the most challenging periods of her life and says our support was “life-changing”. We were proud to unveil a plaque at Jubilee House, our centre in Cumbria, recently – dedicated to former firefighter and committed supporter, Graham Gash. His legacy is already helping the fire services community live well and feel valued. Sue Park has shared some of her memories of her beloved Uncle Pete and Aunt Betty, both of whom enjoyed long careers in the fire service and supported us throughout. Hampshire and Isle of Wight firefighter, Sophie Hodgson – who was previously crowned Mrs Wales - received support following a back injury and says the mental wellbeing benefits along the way helped with her return to the job she loves. Retired firefighter David Marshall shares how we’ve supported him three times since he retired – and why he’d encourage all former personnel to continue donating after they leave the fire service.
