On this 80th anniversary we reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of firefighters across the UK during the Second World War. This International Firefighters' Day we honour and reflect on the sacrifices made by firefighters across the world every day. You ran, cycled, climbed and washed countless cars in aid of us this April - thank you to all of you.
