This year’s London Marathon saw runners from across the globe come together to brave the heat in the country’s capital – and among the faces were some truly inspirational supporters of our charity.
Fire service personnel, loved ones and kind-hearted supporters from all over the UK took on the 26.2 miles, raising thousands of pounds for us and delighting the crowds of supporters on the day.
Among those taking part were three runners completing the challenge in full fire kit – with one, Steve Moore, even managing it while ‘under air’, a truly amazing achievement.
You can see just a few of the many highlights below, and you can find out more about this year’s runners here.
