Inspiring members of our community have been recognised for their services to fire and rescue, their communities, and our charity, in this year’s New Year’s Honours.

Our Chief Executive, Sherine Wheeler, says: “Every day, people across the fire services community go above and beyond to protect others, often at significant personal cost. These honours recognise the commitment, compassion and impact of some truly exceptional individuals in our fire and rescue services.

“I offer my warmest congratulations and heartfelt thanks to everyone recognised by our Patron, His Majesty The King. Their achievements make our fire family incredibly proud, and we are so pleased their service has been commended in this way.”
