We’re thrilled to announce another brand new challenge for 2027. For the first time, we’re putting together a charity team for the London to Brighton Cycle, one of the UK’s best-loved charity bike rides, and we’d love you to be part of it.

On Sunday 12 September 2027, thousands of riders will set off from Clapham Common in London and pedal 55 miles (88km) to the finish line on Brighton seafront. The route is fully signposted and soon leaves the city behind for quiet country lanes and rolling countryside. It also includes the famous Ditchling Beacon, a mile-long climb to the top of the South Downs, where you’ll be rewarded with amazing views before the final descent to the sea.

Join the team

For 2027, we have 15 charity places available. Registration is £55 (including VAT) and we ask each rider to raise a minimum of £150, with 80% raised by Friday 16th July 2027. If you'd like to ride for us, raise funds and be part of our London to Brighton team, we'd love to hear from you.

Applications close on 23rd April or sooner if all places are filled.

From the city to the sea, for the fire services community

Every mile you ride helps us be there for the people who run towards danger so the rest of us don’t have to. The money you raise funds support for serving and retired fire service staff and their families, covering physical health, mental health, personal wellbeing and practical help, whenever they need us.
