On-call firefighter Rob Tremblett received our support following a hamstring injury, helping him to work towards being back on the run. Here, he shares his experience following a visit to one of our centres… Surbjit Ghuman, who’s married to an IT Support Officer with West Midlands FRS, attended our Women’s Wellbeing Week and made lifelong friendships – while boosting her overall wellbeing. Sally Belzoni-Champollion is married to a North Yorkshire firefighter and has received nursing and physiotherapy support from us at Jubilee House due to a number of health conditions. Will Raeper, an on-call firefighter with North Yorkshire FRS, received our support when a serious injury meant he faced months off work from his day job, with a dramatic cut to his income. Retired Lancashire firefighter Barry Hornsby saw his life turned upside down when he suffered a stroke while playing golf. However, with our teams’ help, he’s now able to walk again and is focusing on the future.
