Here, she describes her experience of this incredibly difficult challenge and what motivated her to keep going. Last week Jubilee House, hosted their 'Love Activity Week' a week that encouraged activity and movement rather than formalised methods of exercise. On Sunday, 53-year-old Carol Lord will swim the 23-mile length of Loch Lomond in memory of her Fire Officer father. A team of firefighters from Greater Manchester has completed a 1,700 mile ride from Oldham to Gibraltar William and Aalin Cowley, aged 7 and 4, will be working hard over the summer holidays to complete their 75 miles, with a little help from mum, dad and baby brother, six-month old George.
