27 fire service colleagues tackle half marathon in full kit
The West Midlands firefighters and colleagues have raised over £11,000, to be split between us and another charity close to their hearts.

You've run, walked, climbed, baked and so much more this month to raise thousands to support your fire family - a massive thank you to all of you. Runners from across the UK raised a staggering £114,500 - a record high - through months of fundraising ahead of the event. The friends and colleagues took on the huge challenge to pay tribute to George Cherry – raising over £12,000 in the process. East Kilbride Fire Station has hosted a plant sale fundraiser in aid of us for the last 40+ years – and it’s become such a popular event, they have queues lining the streets.
