A group of Leicestershire firefighters have set up a walking group and fundraiser in memory of their colleague Gary Chamberlain, who sadly passed away at the end of 2023. A team of six firefighters - based in or around Loughborough - will take on 181 miles in full fire kit and BA in memory of their friend Andy Watt, who passed away on 28 July 2022. Spalding business Bakkavor kindly donated a huge £10,000 to us as a thank you to their local fire crews who supported them amid devastating floods last year.
