September 2026 fundraising highlights

You've run miles, pulled fire engines, climbed stairs and so much more this month - thank you for helping people across the fire services community.

This month has been packed with inspiring fundraising efforts, as our supporters came together to raise thousands through challenges, events and acts of remembrance.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been highlighting our mental health support available to firefighters, control staff, support personnel, retired members and their families. Services like these are only possible thanks to the dedication and generosity of fundraisers like you.

Together, you’ve raised more than £270,000 in just four weeks, and that continues to grow every day as donations are received and processed.

Throughout the month, communities came together to mark the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, with several firefighters flying to Atlanta to take on stair climb tribute fundraisers – and more planning their own on home soil.

Every pound raised helps us be there for people in the fire services community, whether they’re facing challenges with their mental health, navigating difficult times, or simply in need of a listening ear.

Thank you to all involved.
