World Suicide Prevention Day is a day to raise awareness of mental health - with a focus on ‘Creating Hope Through Action’. When Karen Bell received support at one of our centres following a lawnmower accident - which left her with major injuries to her hand - she didn’t realise how much it would benefit her mental health too. Jaspreet Kaur, a Business and Project Support Officer with Surrey FRS, was able to attend our Reset Programme during a difficult time – and that’s all thanks to your regular donations. One of our Jubilee House nurses shares what an average day is like for the team that provides round the clock care, kindness and compassion to beneficiaries with additional needs. (All client names have been changed for confidentiality). Discover the story of Wolfgang, whose dad is a firefighter, and share the pride you feel in your role with the children in your life.
