Since launching on November 1, 2023, our Crisis Line has helped hundreds of individuals in our fire family. Here, we share the resources we have available to support you and your loved ones. Aico’s employees have kindly volunteered at our centres with carbon monoxide alarms, smoke alarms and jobs on site. We’ve shared 10 ways you could practice kindness – and self-kindness – today and every day. Liv Carter, whose dad is a retired firefighter and mum works in Control with West Yorkshire FRS, had heard about the support we can offer her parents – and potentially her in the future. We will join family, friends, senior leaders and guest of honour, Princess Anne, at St Giles Cathedral on 23 October to honour Braidwood’s legacy.
