We have a number of infection control measures in place. You will find Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stations, hand sanitising stations and masks available at various locations within the centre. Whilst the wearing of face coverings is not mandatory, please do so if you feel more comfortable.

Our employees may be wearing different forms of personal protective equipment depending on the task being carried out.

Ways to support us

Fire Fighters Charity as you are experiencing it today is the result of almost eight decades of generosity. From our roots in World War Two, when a single donation of £24 was made to support families of London firefighters killed during the Blitz, to the tireless efforts of the fire service community today, our doors are only kept open by this generosity.

The vast majority of money needed to operate our services comes from people like you who donate to us, remember us in their wills, run marathons and climb mountains, shop with us, recycle clothes, or play our lottery. For an organisation like ours, which receives no regular government funding, our supporters are our lifeblood.

In short, we are only here today because someone just like you wanted to support us. So, if you’d like to join this group of wonderful people and donate to the charity or fundraise for us, here are a few ideas for how you could start.

Donate your story

We recognise that not everyone can make a monetary contribution to the charity, but donating your story can be just as valuable. By sharing your experience of the support you’ve received you will help us reach even more people who may be in need. Your story may resonate with someone who is experiencing similar issues but not thought to contact the charity, or it may inspire someone to donate to us to help us keep doing what we do. We know it can be daunting to open up to someone about the events that led to you seeking support from the charity, but rest assured we will speak to you without judgement, encouraging you to open up as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
