Jacquetta Gomes, the first female Buddhist Fire Chaplain in the world, is Fire Fighters Charity’s Fire Chaplain and offers support to service users at Jubilee House. We thank and celebrate every member of our fire services community, and their emergency service colleagues, this 999 Day. We welcomed Chief and other principal fire officers from across the UK, senior leaders, individuals who have received our support, and dedicated volunteers. On this 80th anniversary we reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of firefighters across the UK during the Second World War.
