Avon FRS families come together for special Open Day
Avon Fire and Rescue Service invited staff and their families and friends to come together for a fun-filled day in support of us.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service invited staff and their families and friends to come together for a fun-filled day in support of us. Heather Kent, 15, has no direct connection to the fire service but spent six weeks picking litter in return for donations, as a thank you to fire service personnel she says are the “spirit of their community”. By regularly donating to us, you are directly supporting people like Anton and his son with welfare support when they need it most. Firefighters from across the world pushed themselves to the limit with a series of endurance challenges at the annual event, in aid of the Charity. Dorset and Wiltshire firefighter, Neil Endicott, joined his 14-year-old son for an epic cycle ride to support the Charity that has been there for him twice during his career.
