Lancashire on-call firefighter, Glen Bailey, spent 24 hours continuously lifting weights in a gym to raise funds for us. David Gill set himself the challenge of running 8 miles every day for eight years, before upping it to match the length of the equator – an incredible 24,901 miles. A team of six firefighters - based in or around Loughborough - will take on 181 miles in full fire kit and BA in memory of their friend Andy Watt, who passed away on 28 July 2022. Megan Gait visited Aberdare Fire Station to offer a donation to us and a hamper to the crew.
