Football match raises thousands in memory of firefighter
The match raised a huge £26,000, to be split between us and two other charities, in memory of Norfolk on-call firefighter Carl Mills.

Former firefighter Graham Matthews is a member of a Lodge in West Sussex and says we were chosen as their charity of choice after his dad, who was a firefighter for several decades, passed away. Colleagues from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have completed their fifth Phoenix Challenge in memory of their friend Stu Crebbin. A group of five fire service officers from Cheshire FRS have cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats, raising more than £5,500. Representatives from FRSs across the UK came together in Norfolk for the annual golfing event - raising their highest amount yet.
