A statement from the Chief Executive of Fire Fighters Charity in regard to the tragic events of 15 May in Oxfordshire. On this 80th anniversary we reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of firefighters across the UK during the Second World War. Our fire services community has been recognised by His Majesty King Charles III in this year's New Year's Honours. We will join family, friends, senior leaders and guest of honour, Princess Anne, at St Giles Cathedral on 23 October to honour Braidwood’s legacy.
