Retired on-call firefighter, Graham Wass, is living with MS which impacts his day-to-day life hugely. He’s been supported both face-to-face and remotely in recent years – thanks to funds raised and donations made by you.
On-call firefighter Ash Mooney was told he only had a 1-3% chance of walking again after a rugby injury. However, he defied the odds and says a visit to us helped him build his strength again.
Kelly McHugh took part in a once-in-a-lifetime trek across the Sahara Desert in aid of us this year and says it was just what she needed after a difficult time in her life. Now you could do it too…
Shelley Robinson, a firefighter with London Fire Brigade, has received our help twice – firstly amid difficulties with her mental health, and again more recently as she faced long-term symptoms of Covid-19.
Mark Albutt, a firefighter with Hereford & Worcester FRS, has visited Harcombe House twice with his family for some time out to rest and recharge – and that’s all thanks to your donations over the years.
